A Loving Gift

This year, instead of stalking the mall for holiday remembrances, why not give a more meaningful gift to your loved ones and make the season a little brighter for Steve and Marian Coddington and their children? Make a donation to the family in the name of your loved ones.
Since Marian left Chicago after treatment for a debilitating brain aneurysm, her husband, St. Pete Times photographer Steve Coddington, has struggled to make ends meet. His friends raised more than $20,000 for him this year which paid for several pieces of equipment to help exercise and transport her and health care workers to tend to her while he works. The money is dwindling.
His friends have made lovely holiday cards, complete with information about the family and a note inside that you have made a donation in your loved one's name. Your gift recipients will receive this card, notifying them of the donation, though the amount won't be disclosed.
Here's how it will work.
You can make a donation through PayPal on this site or send a check made out to the "Marian Coddington Trust," to:
Suntrust Bank
Attention Special Handling VA-RIC-9292
P.O. Box 27572
Richmond, VA 23261
Send the name and address of the gift recipient to us at savestevesfamily@gmail.com
and we will send the recipient a card.
Thank you, again, for your continued concern for the Coddingtons. Your generosity has been a gift to us, Steve's friends, as well as to the family because it has shown us how much kindness there is in the world.
